A One-Person Adventure (For Now)
#
Cocolabs is currently a pet project led by just one person—me! 🚀 This initiative is designed with the vision to grow and evolve over time. It’s an open-source project aimed at supporting Mac admins by providing better tools 🛠️ and raw information 📊 to make their jobs easier and more efficient. While it’s a solo endeavor for now, there’s plenty of room for expansion, collaboration 🤝, and community involvement in the future.
About Me#
Cody M Keats (aka cocopuff2u)
Senior Systems Endpoint Engineer • Coursera
Hi, I’m Cody—a Senior Systems Endpoint Engineer at Coursera 🖥️, where I focus on securing and managing endpoints at scale across a global platform. I recently transitioned from supporting the U.S. Navy as a civilian 🏛️, but my passion for serving both federal and non-federal spaces hasn’t gone anywhere—it just found a new home.
I’m the sole developer of the open-source project M.A.C.E. (Mac Advanced Compliance Editor) 🛠️, the maintainer of MOFA (Microsoft Overview Feed for Apple) 📊, and an active contributor to the mSCP government working group 🔒. With experience spanning higher education 🎓, government 🏛️, and high-compliance environments, I build tools for admins in the trenches—people like me—to make their lives easier and their environments more secure 🌍.
Outside of work, I’m a dedicated gamer 🎮 who enjoys connecting with my community and exploring Charleston, SC 🌴, where I call home. I also have a deep love for outer space 🚀 and hope to one day work with NASA or in a role that supports humanity’s exploration beyond Earth—it’s the nerd in me that yearns for the stars ✨ and believes they may one day be our next home.
